Gentronix Announces Introduction of its New BlueScreen HC Genotoxicity Assay and an in vitro Comet Testing Service
-50.jpg) 17 Feb 2010: Gentronix is pleased to announce the introduction of its new early genotoxicity screening assay BlueScreen HC. BlueScreen HC is a human cell-based reporter assay that monitors expression of the GADD45a gene, a P53 target that is up-regulated in response to all types of genotoxic stress. To coincide with the expansion of cell-based screening services, Gentronix has also announced the introduction of its in vitro Comet assay service.

Functional Screening of Recombinant CHO-M1 Cells using the PHERAstar from BMGLABTECH
09 Feb 2010: This application note demonstrates the HTRF® assay from Cisbio as a fast and reliable method to directly screen a large number of stable transfected single cell clones. Carbachol dose response curves with fresh cells from a growing culture and frozen instant cells measured on BMG LABTECH´s PHERAstar showed similar results for EC50 and signal-to-blank values.

09 Feb 2010: Time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET) has become a popular technique in the field of high-throughput screening. This application note demonstrates the TR-FRET kit from Cisbio, the IP-One HTRF assay, under standard high-throughput screening conditions. The IP-One HTRF assay was shown to be a stable cell culture time-resolved fluorescence assay for screening G-Protein coupled receptors.
